Block -Based Programming! Coding Animations! Learning how computers 'think' and take commands.

The focus of this online class is to present fun challenges, activities and projects to our young students, that allow students explore the fundamentals of computer programming, while learning critical 21st century skills: critical thinking, problem solving, communication, resilience. 

We all know how important digital literacy is in today's world, our curriculum seeks to empower students by supporting their existing knowledge and encouraging them to explore new ways of thinking and new tools to create artefacts.

Mentors: our mentors are computer science graduates, experienced in exploring coding with students age 7 to 17.

Tuesdays 6pm to 7pm

Four sessions: May 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

Note: these sessions will take place over zoom, a laptop with microphone and camera is required to participate.
